Please read all of the information below carefully BEFORE bidding.

General

Condition: items are described as to their condition (i.e. never opened, new in box, excellent, good, minor wear/tear, etc). Ask questions if you're not sure.
Testing: whenever possible, items will be tested prior to listing. Items not tested will be indicated as "not tested" or "as is" in the item description. When items have been tested, a description of the test and any possible output will be included in the item description.
Items will not be disassembled for individual parts. I only have so much room to store this stuff so the entire unit must go when sold.

Bidding

Please bid high and bid often! :-)
Any questions regarding item condition, shipping rates, etc., must be reviewed BEFORE you bid.
I reserve the right to cancel bids from bidders with negative or no feedback entries.

Payment

I accept payment via PayPal only.
Payment must be received within 3 days of the end of the auction or item will be relisted and negative feedback posted.
Final cost is final auction price plus shipping depending on the shipping method you choose (see below for details).

Returns/Refunds

If specified, returns/refunds are accepted after being notified within 7 days of receiving your item.
Buyer pays all return shipping costs
10% re-restocking fee applies
Item must be well packaged and returned in the same condition that it was shipped.
No returns/refunds on certain items, such as software and other media. Check the item description to be sure.

Shipping

Buyer pays all shipping costs unless otherwise specified in the item listing.
I usually offer shipping options with tracking using either Canada Post or UPS Standard service. I also offer shipping options WITHOUT tracking at a lower cost which you may choose at your discretion. However, I strongly recommend you choose a shipping option with tracking for your own peace of mind. Shipping methods with tracking typically get your package to you faster anyway. If you don't see the shipping method you prefer on the shipping tab, please ask for a quote in advance.
Regular weight (66 pounds and under) / size items - exclusive carrier:

Canada Post shipping options with and without tracking within Canada and to the U.S.A. can be found here.
Canada Post Xpresspost (domestic) and Xpresspost U.S.A. service (both with tracking) are similar to USPS Global Express Mail in the United States. These services are significantly cheaper than UPS and provide a quick shipping method compared to the standard parcel service. Check the delivery time information below for comparison.
Other options may be available - check the shipping tab on the item for details. For example, Canada Post Regular Parcel (Canada) and Expedited Parcel USA (USA) services both offer tracking at a lower cost and longer delivery time.
I also ship outside of North America via Canada Post International Parcel Air service - please check the shipping tab for cost to your location. Note that this method does not include tracking. If you wish to have tracking on an international shipment, Xpresspost International can be used, however, the cost is significantly higher. Please use the shipping calculator on the shipping tab for comparison.

Items over the Canada Post weight / size restrictions are shipped via UPS Standard service.

For North America shipments, the shipping cost is calculated by weight and destination under the shipping tab for the item. All items sold are weighed and measured in order to quote accurate shipping costs.
For some items, a flat shipping charge will apply. See item description for details.
Shipping from Canada to the USA is somewhat more expensive than vice versa or U.S.A to U.S.A.

When possible, I will ship multiple items won together to save on shipping. Depending on the increased weight/size, additional shipping charges may be incurred, however, this will almost always be less than the individual shipping charges. Let me know in advance if you plan to purchase multiple items and I can combine them for you. If you don't notify me in advance and you win multiple items, please wait until you receive an invoice from me with the adjusted shipping amount for the combined items.

All items are normally shipped next business day, especially big items because of the extra packing or crating required to ensure your item arrives in good condition.
If payment is received by 12:00 pm my time (Mountain Standard / Mountain Daylight time zone), I make every effort to get your item to the post office by the 4 pm pickup deadline.

PLEASE NOTE: when given the option, if you choose the lowest cost shipping method for international shipments (and international shipping can be expensive, so I don't blame you), it can take quite some time to receive your shipment. For example, a light envelope of a few CDs took 9 weeks from Canada to Australia via international surface shipping. The equivalent airmail shipping is only a few weeks. Be aware that the shipment can be delayed further in customs when arriving in your country. If you have the time and don't mind the wait, then international surface shipping can be a good choice but please be aware that tracking is not available on this service and there is nothing that either you or I can do to investigate the delay. However, if you want the item sooner, it will cost a bit more for airmail service, and usually with tracking available.

Please do not ask me to place incorrect information on customs forms such as a lower value than the auction closing price - I won't do it. I am honest and expect you to be too.

All items are shipped with default carrier insurance coverage. For example, Xpresspost shipments are insured to a maximum value of CDN$100. If you wish to purchase additional insurance, please advise before your payment is made. Otherwise, your payment will be considered final for default shipping insurance coverage.

Local pickup / freight carrier pickup: when stated in the item description, these items must be picked up locally. Alternatively, the buyer may use a shipping company of his/her choice and paid for directly by the buyer to pick up the item. Items which require palletization or crating must be done so by the buyers shipping company or designate. I do not have the ability to do this myself. Such items are to be picked up at a residential address and therefore no loading dock is available.

Feedback

I will leave positive feedback if the transaction is smooth and prompt but also in cases where reasonable delays are incurred.
I reserve the right to determine what is reasonable and what is not.
Only in rare cases will negative feedback be issued (no show bidders, non-payment, etc.)

My eBay philosophy is simple: be fair and truthful. I expect the same of you.
I will do my best to describe and/or test the items prior to listing. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
I won't sell anything that I would not be satisfied receiving myself - period.
My aim is to make you happy, after all, I want to receive positive feedback :-)
